How we work

Fact-check process

1. Gather. Market prices come from Yahoo Finance data. Company, central-bank and economic facts come from named reporting and official releases.
2. Tag. Each fact in our working notes is marked as read in full or only seen in a summary. Anything seen only in a summary is worded with care or left out. Unverified numbers are not used.
3. Write in our own words. Scripts are rewritten from the checked facts, not copied from any article.
4. Review. A person reviews the script and the numbers before the edition goes out.
5. Show the sources. Every story names its sources, and every edition lists them again at the bottom.

AI disclosure

The voices you hear and the illustrations you see are AI-generated. The scripts are written and fact-checked with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publication. The newspaper pages are designed layouts, not photographs.

Corrections

If a number is wrong we correct the page and say so on it.
